About

The BioQUEST Curriculum Consortium (BQCC) is a community of scientists, teachers, and learners who are interested in supporting biology education that reflects realistic scientific practices.

  • BioQUEST has a 20+ year history of educational innovation emphasizing effective uses of inquiry, technology, and participatory models of curriculum development.

Featured Projects: Numb3r5 Count, SCALE-IT, SCOPE

  • Our efforts in science education build on our commitment to engaging learners in a full spectrum of biological inquiry from problem posing, to problem solving and peer persuasion.

We encourage you to get involved with the BioQUEST Curriculum Consortium. Here are a few suggestions for getting started:

There is no cost to register and we definitely do not share your contact information with others. The majority of our content is available as open education materials (under a creative commons license), but we do require registration for some downloading in order to track resource use for reporting and planning purposes.

BioQUEST members tend to keep active travel and presentation schedules. Take a look at our calendar and see where our paths might cross.

If you are interested in bringing in some external science education or faculty development expertise, drop us a line.  We consult on workshop planning, introducing technology for curricular development, and proposal writing with departments and organizations.  As our Projects & Collaborations page shows, we work on projects of all sizes.
