  1. How are you using inquiry to support teaching and learning biology?
  2. Please briefly describe your concerns for teaching and learning biology in the 21st Century.
  3. Provide an example of how you are engaging your 21st Century learners in the classroom. Examples might include introducing quantitative reasoning, accessing bioinformatics data, or exploring productivity tools for cyberlearning.

Applications will be reviewed starting April 2nd, 2011. We will continue to accept applications until all participant spaces are filled. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Sue Risseeuw at with your inquiries.

Please note that we are charging a modest fee of $300 for registration, room and board for the 5 days in residence. Scholarships are available to a few participants. Every attempt will be made to assist highly qualified and interested applicants to participate.
