BioQUEST does not share individual member information! We do use your email to send you infrequent updates on BioQUEST. Also, summary information is generated in reporting to our funders.
- My computer uses Windows XP. Can I run any of the BQ Library Online modules?
Several modules run only on Windows or run on both Windows and Mac platforms. The earliest BQ Library modules were Mac only. In addition, a few Mac Archive modules require an older OS system.
- How can I learn more about/get a list of publications on the BioQUEST 3P's philosophy of problem posing, problem solving, and peer persuasion?
Select the module An Introduction to BioQUEST's 3Ps in the BQ Library Online. Click on User Resources to see more resources relevant to this philosophy.
- How can I find someone to write/email/talk to about a question?
Choose Contact Us in the menubar on the BioQUEST home page.
- I found an error. Can this be fixed?
All users are encouraged to send in their suggestions/corrections. Just click on the green Feedback mouse icon in the upper right. To submit your feedback, please provide the minimal information requested.
- Can I download BQ Library Online software on multiple computers?
Yes, teachers, curriculum developers, and students are welcome to download these materials within an educational setting. To learn more, select Copyright from the menubar on the BQ Library Online homepage.
- How can I get updates on new BQ Library Online modules?
Join the BioQUEST Curriculum Consortium. Just click on the Sign In peapod icon in the upper right corner and fill in the required information. You can then select which updates you would like to receive in the lower left column.
- I found a reference to Microbes Count! How can I download materials from this resource?
At this time, only individuals with a copy of the Microbes Count! Book can download these materials.
- What do I need to run Environmental Decision Making?
Besides downloading the files from Environmental Decision Making, be sure to go to the User Resources and download both the Extend software and the First Time Use of Extend file.
- What are the A+ A A- letters in the upper right for?
This link allows you to change the text size. For example, click on A+ to increase text size or click on A- to reduce it.
- Can I share a lab I have developed for Evolve, a BQ Library Online module?
Yes! You must be signed in to do this, so click on the Sign In peapod icon in the upper right. Then select Evolve from the Modules page in the BQ Library Online. Choose User Resources and then click on Contribute a User Resource under the Evolve title. Follow the directions and upload your link(s) or your electronic file(s). An Editoral group will review your materials and either publish the submission under Evolve as a new User Resource or send an inquiry.
