BioQuest / SCALE-IT Workshop: Tools to Go

George and Angela Shiflet will be using various tools in a variety of ways.  We will use data from “Parallel bacterial evolution within multiple patients identifies candidate pathogenicity genes” by Lieberman et. al. in projects for a module on “Markov Chains,” an eventual Blue Waters Undergraduate Petascale Education Program module.  We plan to use this module this January in our Modeling Biological Networks interim.  Gapminder will be employed as a resource for case studies in George’s Public Health course in the spring.  We plan to use data from WWF / WildFinder Databasees in other modules.Bioquest Tools
