Brief Overview:

This is a case study in which students will work in pairs/groups to develop and carry out an inquiry project on a mysterious "disease" that is wiping out the Tasmanian Devil population. The story unfolds sequentially, and instructors are provided with "Toolkits" to facilitate the problem solving approach. The case study addresses the following topics: Disease, Cell Biology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Ecology and Evolution.
